For over 10 years, Owens Educational Services has held it's annual "Diamonds in the Rough" fundraiser at the River City Star. We have come to truly appreciate our experience with Tami and the entire staff. From the meticulously kept property to the perfectly attentive customer service oriented crew - we know we will be back for many years to come! Our guests come from all over the state of Nebraska and always praise how wonderful their experience is, from the sunset cruise down the Missouri to the live bands under the big tent and all points in between! In our minds, the River City Star at Millers Landing is the best place to host our largest event of the year.

Whether it be for an intimate dinner on the river for our corporate executives, or a full day of family fun for our over 500 employees and their families, the River City Star has always made it a wonderful experience. The staff at the River City Star are the best in the business to work with. We would recommend them for any type of event!

For the past 4 years we have had an annual pilgrimage of South Africans traveling to Omaha to attend the Berkshire Hathaway AGM in May. For each of these years, we booked a trip on the River City Star. The team is super friendly and helpful and the food amazing! Never visit Omaha without having a River City Star Experience!

Our experience was incredible. The staff was wonderful, they were personable, kind and made everyone feel relaxed. I must say, the entire experience from making the reservations, selection of food and then enjoying the boat ride was 100 percent perfect. The food was delicious, there was plenty for everyone and everyone who worked the event were great. I recommend the River City Star to many people and would love to have another event there. Thank you to everyone you all are the greatest people! Ps, this was my husbands’ retirement party and he had the time of his life!
